Our laboratory regularly purchases the polyclonal rabbit to GyrA (ab75594). I have noticed thatits sensitivity is significantly reduced after a few weeksof storage at -20C. I avoid cycles of freeze and thaw by aliquoting the first time I use it. What are yourrecommendations regading sensitivity andstorage?
Thank you in advance,

Thank you for contacting us.
Most of our antibodies are stable at -20C for up to five years. For short term storage we recommend storing at 4C. It is also important to aliquot them in order to minimize damage due to freezing and thawing.
If after following these recommendations you are still experiencing problems with the antibody, please let us know, and I’ll be happy to follow this quality issue up.
All of our products are covered by our Abpromise guarantee; which ensures that you can trust our products, and they should work in the tested species and applications stated on the datasheet, or we will offer a replacement, credit, or refund, if reported within 6 months of purchase.
Please let me know how the antibody performs, and do not hesitate to contact us if it does not do it as expected.
