      DOCK2 (dedicator of cytokinesis 2) is a hematopoietic cell-specific protein that participates in the cytoskeletal rearrangements required for lymphocyte migration in response to chemokines. DOCK2 activates the small GTPases RAC1 and RAC2 and may also be involved in IL2 transcriptional activation via the activation of RAC2.

    You are correct, we observed better staining in IHC-P with ab124838 when no antigen retrieval was used. Thus, we recommend skipping the antigen retrieval step in your protocol. This may vary depending on your tissue type and processing methods, so it may still be worthwhile in your initial optimization testing our no antigen retrieval with a standard heat mediated antigen retrieval side by side to see which gives better staining in your specific tissue samples.
