Additional Notes
Neurons in the day 25 old female mouse brain. Used ab12286 at 1/100 staining mouse brain tissue sections by IHC-P. Expression was noted in various neurons of the brain and in the Cerebellum shown here. Antibody optimization included dilutions of 1:25, 1:100, 1:200, 1:500. The tissue was neutral buffered formalin fixed for 24hours at 4C before embedding in paraffin. Sections were blocked with serum prior to incubation with the antibody overnight at 4C. A biotinylated goat anti-rabbit IgG was used as the secondary.
The reviewer received a reward from Abcam’s Loyalty Program in thanks for submitting this Abreview and for helping the scientific community make better-informed decisions.
