Alejandra Solache

As Senior VP, R&D, Alejandra Solache supports the development of Abcam’s innovations, aiming to address the reproducibility crisis in the life sciences industry. Key strategic initiatives under her leadership include the implementation of recombinant production and the establishment of multiple validation programs, several of which have received industry awards.

Before joining Abcam, Alejandra held various positions at Merck-Millipore, most recently as R&D Director, where she led the Antibody and Assay Development teams. Her expertise in Immunology and Cell Signaling was further developed through postdoctoral fellowships at UCSF and the Trudeau Institute.
