Josh Johnson

Josh has led Strategy and Strategic Partnerships at Abcam since October 2024. He originally joined the company in 2021 as Head of Corporate Development, where he spearheaded key initiatives including the acquisition of Biovision, the transition of Abcam’s equity listing from AIM to NASDAQ, and other strategic corporate projects. Josh also represents Abcam as a Board member of BrickBio. Before joining Abcam, Josh advised corporate and private equity clients on a wide range of strategic transactions, most recently as part of Rothschild & Co’s Global Advisory practice in Healthcare and Life Sciences (M&A).

He holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Natural Sciences (Biochemistry) from the University of Cambridge.
