Product details
Lipophilic near-IR (NIR) fluorescent membrane probe.
Biological Description:This tricarbocyanine fluorophore is excited at 750 nmand has an emission peak at 782 nm. It also has virtually no fluorescence in water, while having high fluorescence when incorporated into cell membranes. Long-chain dialkylcarbocyanines are widely used as anterograde and retrograde neuronal tracers in living and fixed tissues and cells. Chemical name: 1,1'-Dioctadecyl-3,3,3',3'-tetramethylindotricarbocyanine iodide [CAS]:100068-60-8 Molecular Formula: C63H101N2I Molecular Weight: 1013.39 Excitation: 750 Emission: 782 Storage: -20oC, desiccated, protect from light Solubility: CHCl3, MeOH
