H3 (methyl K4) also appears to have an inverse correlation to allele-specific DNA methylation.

Histone H3 (methyl K4) Assay Kit (In Situ) (ab115046) allows the user to specifically measure histone H3K4 methylation in situ using cultured adherent cells in a quick and efficient procedure which can be finished within 3 hours.
