Inorganic Polyphosphate Assay Kit (Fluorometric) (ab284528) (K2025) is a simple assay to quantify the amount of Poly P in various biological samples. The assay uses a fluorescent dye that forms a complex with Poly P present in the samples and the fluorsecent complex is measured at Ex/Em = 415/550 nm.
The fluorescent signal is proportional to the Poly P concentration in the samples.
This kit provides a rapid, sensitive and a convenient tool for detecting Poly P. It can detect as low as 50 pmole under the assay conditions.
This product is manufactured by BioVision, an Abcam company and was previously called K2025 Inorganic Polyphosphate Assay Kit (Fluorometric). K2025-100 is the same size as the 100 test size of ab284528.
