Lipase Assay Kit II (Colorimetric) (ab102525) provides a simple, sensitive, and reliable assay for rapid analysis of Lipase activity.

In the lipase assay, Lipases hydrolyze a specific substrate to generate a product which reacts with the DTNB probe to generate color (412 nm). This kit is suitable for high throughput analysis.

Lipase assay protocol summary:
- add samples and standards to wells
- add reaction mix
- analyze with a microplate reader at 3 min and at between 60 and 90 min

Other Notes
This product was previously called K723 Biovision Lipase Activity Colorimetric Assay Kit II. Biovision was acquired by Abcam in 2021.
