Product details

Peroxidase Assay Kit (ab324119) uses a one-step, homogeneous, no wash, luminescent-readout assay method.

The assay kit contains hydrogen peroxide and an assay buffer containing a chemiluminescent reagent. The chemiluminescent reagent becomes luminescent in a reaction coupled with the action of peroxidases on hydrogen peroxide.

In the peroxidase assay protocol, the working solution is added to samples, with a 30-min to 2-hr incubation and monitoring of luminescence intensity using a luminometric plate reader.

HRP (horseradish peroxidase) is used to produce a standard curve.
