qPCR Lentivirus Titer Kit ab289841 provides a fast, highly-sensitive and specific method for measuring lentivirus titers with complete elimination of NTC amplification. Results in under 2 hours.

How the assay works
The qPCR Lentivirus Titer Kit (ab289841) contains a 2X qPCR MasterMix which has intrinsic reverse transcriptase activity, thus eliminating the need for an extra reverse transcription incubation step.

The kit is designed to deliver high sensitivity and ensures minimal non-specific background. ROX reference dye is provided separately from the MasterMix, making this kit universally compatible with most qPCR instruments.

The sample types that can be used with ab289841 are virus-producing cell lines or purified viral prep.

qPCR Lentivirus Titer Kit protocol
- Prepare viral samples.
- Lyse viral samples using Viral lysis buffer for 5 minutes.
- Prepare standard Control DNA dilutions.
- Run qPCR for ~73 minutes and read results.
