Functional Studies - 6-Formylindolo(3,2-b)carbazole, Aryl hydrocarbon receptor ligand (AB141631)

FICZ upregulates Cyp1A1 expression.

HL-60 cells were initiated in culture at 0.1 x 106 cells/ml with 1 μM RA, 100 nM FICZ, 1 μM α-NF as indicated for 2 h and 48 h. At 2 h post treatment, FICZ upregulates Cyp1A1 expression in HL-60 cells, reaching significance for RA+FICZ vs C (p = 0.0029) and vs RA (p = 0.0045) and α-NF+FICZ+RA vs C (p = 0.0086) and vs RA (p = 0.0134).

FICZ = 6-Formylindolo(3,2-b)carbazole, Aryl hydrocarbon receptor ligand.
