Biological description

Potent and specific aminopeptidase inhibitor. Antibiotic. Inhibits 12 aminopeptidases including aminopeptidase B, (K_i = 1 μM), leucyl aminopeptidase (K_i = 1 nM) and cytosol nonspecific dipeptidase (K_i = 4 nM). Active in vivo and in vitro.
