Water-soluble, long-chained biotin hydrazide for glycoconjugate detection. Selective label for sialic acid, galactose and other sugars in glycoconjugates using avidin-biotin technology. Can biotin label proteins and peptides. Linking arm enables easier binding to avidin / sterptavidin in ELISA. Cellular tracer. Can be introduced into cells via micro-injection.
