Biological description

CD40-TRAF6 interaction inhibitor. Small molecule that binds to TRAF6, blocking interactions with CD40. Suppresses CD40-induced IL-1β and IL-6 expression in primary macrophages in vitro. Improves insulin sensitivity, reduces adipose tissue inflammation, and ameliorates hepatosteatosis in a mouse diet-induced obesity model.
