MW 412.34 g/mol, Purity >98%. Highly sensitive, photo-stable fluorescent probe for quantification of low concentrations of nitric oxide (NO). More sensitive to nitric oxide (NO) than DAF-2 (ab145269). More photo-stable and less pH sensitive than DAF-2. Not as cell-permeable as the diacetate derivative, DAF-FM DA (ab145295), but it does not need to be activated by cytosolic enzymes. Essentially nonfluorescent until it reacts with NO to form a fluorescent benzotriazole.
