MW 189.64 g/mol, Purity >99%. Full β3 agonist. Structurally and functionally homologous to norepinephrine. Neurotransmitter in invertebrates. Dual action on glucose transport in vitro; stimulates lipolysis via β3 receptor activation or stimulates uptake following oxidation by MAO. Induces synaptic neuropeptide release in the absence of Ca2+.
