The packet contains a powder that is used to make a 10X concentrated formulation of phosphate buffered saline (PBS). PBS is used as a wash buffer during immuno-labeling procedures.
This product replaces ab128983 and has an identical formulation.
Procedure:
To make a 10X concentrated phosphate buffered saline empty the contents of the pack into a container and add distilled deionized water to the final volume of 1 L. This is a 10X stock solution and should be diluted 10-fold with distilled water to make the 1X working solution.
