This E.coli lysate contains a 41 kd recombinant protein expressing 12 commonly used Tags which are fused to the N-terminus of the protein in the order of:
GST
T7
HSV
C-Myc
VSV-g
Glu-Glu
V5
E-tag
FLAG (DDDDK)
S-tag
HA
6x His
Excellent as a loading control for Western blotting. Lysate expresses 12 different epitope tags.

This blot was produced using a 4-12% Bis-tris gel under the MOPS buffer system. The gel was run at 200V for 50 minutes before being transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane at 30V for 70 minutes. The membrane was then blocked for an hour using 3% milk before being incubated with HRP Anti-6X His tag® antibody [4D11] ab202004 overnight at 4°C. Antibody binding was visualised using ECL development solution ECL Substrate Kit (High Sensitivity) ab133406.
All lanes: Western blot - HRP Anti-6X His tag® antibody [4D11] (HRP Anti-6X His tag® antibody [4D11] ab202004) at 1/5000 dilution
All lanes: Western blot - E. coli Positive Control (Escherichia coli ) Whole Cell Lysate (ab5395) at 0.1 µg
Developed using the ECL technique.
Performed under reducing conditions.
Exposure time: 3min
This image was produced using the same antibody clone but different formulation, Anti-Myc tag antibody [9E10] ab32.
Lysate from E. coli recombinantly expressing 11 commonly used tags including myc tag.
All lanes: Western blot - Anti-Myc tag antibody [9E10] (Anti-Myc tag antibody [9E10] ab32) at 1 µg/mL
All lanes: Western blot - E. coli Positive Control (Escherichia coli ) Whole Cell Lysate (ab5395) at 10 µg
All lanes: Goat polyclonal to Mouse IgG - H&L - Pre-Adsorbed (HRP) at 1/3000 dilution
Developed using the ECL technique.
Performed under reducing conditions.
Predicted band size: 48 kDa, 49 kDa
Observed band size: 45 kDa
Exposure time: 1min
