Please refer to our lysis protocol for further details on how our lysates are prepared.
User storage instructions: Lyophilizate may be stored at 4°C. After reconstitution, store at -20°C for short-term storage or -80°C for long-term storage.

Biological function summary
Carboxypeptidase A4 contributes to the breakdown of peptides by removing terminal amino acids. It can operate as a single enzyme or potentially associate with other factors though specific complex formations with CPA4 are not well-documented. This proteolytic activity can regulate peptide hormone activity and aid in the final stages of protein digestion. The activity of CPA4 is also influenced by its interaction with zinc ions which are necessary for its catalytic function.
