How the assay works

Aflibercept ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantification of Aflibercept concentration in human serum or plasma with high sensitivity and reproducibility. Standards and samples (serum or plasma) are added in the microtiter plate coated with the reactant for Aflibercept. After incubation, the wells are washed. The HRP conjugated probe is added and binds to aflibercept captured by the reactant on the surface of the wells. Following incubation wells are washed and the bound enzymatic activity is detected by addition of TMB chromogen substrate. Finally, the reaction is terminated with an acidic stop solution. The color developed is proportional to the amount of aflibercept in the sample or standard. Results of samples can be determined directly using the standard curve.

1. Add assay buffer to all wells followed by standards, controls and samples to appropriate wells. Incubate at room temperature.
2. Wash
3. Add HRP conjugate to each well. Incuate at room temperature.
4. Wash
5. Add TMB subtrate solution. Incubate in the dark
6. Add stop solution and read absorbance at 450nm

This product is manufactured by BioVision, an Abcam company and was previously called E4854 BioSim™ Aflibercept (Eylea®)(Human) ELISA Kit. E4854-100 is the same size as the 1 x 96 tests size of ab282906.
