Sandwich ELISA - Caffeine ELISA Kit - Extracellular (AB325037)
Interpolated concentration of native Caffeine was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations. Undiluted samples are 1 : 2,000 Human serum, and 1 : 4,000 Human plasma (citrate), plasma (EDTA) and plasma (heparin). The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in Cell Extraction Buffer SSW.

Product details
Caffeine ELISA Kit- Extracellular (ab325037) is a rapid single-wash competitive 90-min ELISA to measure Caffeine in Serum, Citrate Plasma, EDTA Plasma, Heparin Plasma, Saliva, Urine, Cell Culture Supernatant. This SimpleStep sensitivity is 2.391 pg/ml.

How the assay works

Caffeine ELISA Kit- Extracellular (ab325037) uses an affinity tag recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to competitive ELISA® allows the formulation of the antibody-analyte complex in a single step, saving you significant time at the bench.
In the antigen-down format, the labeled antigen and the unlabeled antigen from your sample compete to bind to the HRP-tagged capture antibody. In the antibody-down format, the HRP-tagged antigen and the unlabeled antigen from your sample compete to bind to the capture antibody. The component labeled with the CaptSure™ affinity tag, either antigen or antibody, binds to the SimpleStep ELISA® plate. A decrease in signal indicates the presence of antigen in the sample when compared to wells containing only the labeled antigen.

Assay Specificity

Our SimpleStep ELISA® kits use recombinant monoclonal antibodies rigorously validated to ensure the highest level of consistency and reproducibility, improved sensitivity and specificity and ease of scalability and security of supply.
Please refer to our protocol booklet for more details.

Caffeine (ab325037) protocol summary

1.
