Product details

The Human ARL2BP ELISA Kit (ab283981) is designed for detection of ARL2BP in human plasma, serum, and cell lysate samples. This assay employs a quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique that measures human ARL2BP in approximately 4 hours.

A polyclonal antibody specific for human ARL2BP has been pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate with removable strips. ARL2BP in standards and samples is sandwiched by the immobilized antibody and a biotinylated polyclonal antibody specific for human ARL2BP, which is recognized by a streptavidin-peroxidase (SP) conjugate. All unbound material is washed away and a peroxidase enzyme substrate is added. The colour development is stopped and the intensity of the colour is measured.

ARL2BP also known as ADP-ribosylation factor-like 2 binding protein plays an important role in cellular transport mechanisms. This protein weighs approximately 17 kDa. ARL2BP is mainly expressed in tissues like heart skeletal muscle and pancreas. It interacts with microtubules and is involved in intracellular trafficking and cell movement.
