Possible adhesion molecule with a role in early hematopoiesis by mediating the attachment of stem cells to the bone marrow extracellular matrix or directly to stromal cells. Could act as a scaffold for the attachment of lineage specific glycans, allowing stem cells to bind to lectins expressed by stromal cells or other marrow components. Human CD34 SimpleStep ELISA® kit is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of CD34 protein in Cell Lysate, Tissue extracts. Quantitate Human CD34 with 12.486 pg/ml sensitivity.
SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibodyanalyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. Interpolated concentration of native CD34 was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations in 96-well vs. 384-well plates. Undiluted samples are TF-1 cell extract 40 μg/mL. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in 1X Cell Extraction Buffer SSW.
