Product details
Human CD6/T12 ELISA Kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of human CD6/T12 in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. This assay employs an antibody specific for human CD6/T12 coated on a 96-well plate.
This ELISA kit shows no cross-reactivity with the following cytokines tested: human ADAMTS13, Aggrecan, Angiotensinogen (SERPINA8), B7-H1 (CD274), BMPR-IA (ALK-3), BMPR-II, Cadherin-11, CD27 (TNFRSF7), Ck beta 8-1 (CCL23), CNTF, DNAM-1 (CD226), CD147 (EMMPRIN), FLRG, Follistatin-like 1, Fractalkine (CX3CL1), Galectin-1, GITR Ligand (TNFSF18), Granulysin (NKG5/LAG-2), IL-1 R3 (IL-1 R Acp), IL-15 R alpha, IL-17E (IL-25), IL32 alpha, CHL-1 (L1CAM-2), LRIG3, LRP-6, MEPE (OF45), Nectin-4, Periostin, Persephin, Renin, RGM-B, ROBO3, S100 A8, Siglec-7 (CD328), Syndecan-3, Thrombospondin 2, Thrombospondin 5 (COMP), Tie-1, ULBP-2 (ALCAN-alpha/N2DL2).

Biological function summary
CD6 functions involve T cell maturation and proliferation. The protein is part of the lymphocyte activation complex contributing to the modulation of T cell receptor (TCR) signaling. It interacts with other cell surface proteins such as CD3 and CD28 to influence the response of T cells to antigens. CD6 potentially modulates the threshold for T cell activation favoring the adjustment of immune responses to various antigens.
Pathways
CD6 participates in the signaling pathways that regulate adaptive immune responses. It is involved in the T cell receptor (TCR) signaling pathway essential for T cell activation and differentiation. CD6 interacts with proteins like LCK and ZAP-70 which are pivotal for the TCR signaling cascade. Additionally CD6's role in immune synapse formation connects it to the modulation of cytokine production and immune cell communication.
