Product details
Human CREG1/CREG ELISA kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of human CREG1/CREG in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. This assay employs an antibody specific for human CREG1/CREG coated on a 96-well plate.
This ELISA kit shows no cross-reactivity with the following cytokines tested: human AMIGO, Aminopeptidase LRAP (ERAP2), Amnionless, Arylsulfatase A, Bcl-w, CD109, CD157, CD34, CD83, CLEC1, CLEC10A (CD301), CMG-2, Cystatin SN, Cytokeratin-8, Dectin-1 (CLEC7A), Desmocollin-3, Endoglycan, Galectin-4, HAPLN1, Jagged 1, Langerin (CD207), Lumican, Matriptase (ST14), MEP1B, Nectin-3, OX40 (TNFRSF4), OX40 Ligand (TNFSF4), p27, Pappalysin2, Plexin B3, Plexin D1, proGRP, PSA-total, Reg1B, RGM-A, ROBO2, Spinesin, TWEAK R (TNFRSF12), ULBP-3.

Biological function summary
CREG1 influences cell proliferation and differentiation processes. It forms part of a complex network involving transcription factors and other proteins that govern these cellular functions. Through its interaction with pRb CREG1 can repress certain gene activities while activating others allowing it to maintain a balance between cellular growth and maturation. This balance is essential for normal development and tissue maintenance.
Pathways
CREG1 has a significant role in TGF-beta and E2F-dependent signaling. These pathways are key in cell cycle regulation apoptosis and stem cell biology. Through the E2F pathway CREG1 influences the transcriptional regulation and aids in controlling cell division. CREG1's interaction with pRb and E2F exemplifies how it modulates the progression of the cell cycle playing a part in pathways that determine cell identity and quiescence.
