Interpolated concentration of native CTHRC1 in human serum, plasma and cell culture supernatant samples was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations. Undiluted samples are as follows : serum 50%, plasma (citrate) 50%, and SK-MEL28 cell culture supernatant 4%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean CTHRC1 concentration was determined to be 9,486 pg/mL in serum, 10,463 pg/mL in plasma (citrate) and 140,962 pg/mL in SK-MEL28 cell culture supernatant. Sample dilutions are made in Sample Diluent NS.

How the assay works

Human CTHRC1 ELISA Kit, Chemiluminescent (ab325998) SimpleStep Ignite™ ELISA employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step during a 30 min only incubation, significantly reducing assay time. By utilizing a chemiluminscent detection method this improves the sensitivity and dynamic range when compared to traditional colorimetric ELISAs.
