Interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean CYR61 concentration was determined to be 170.3 pg/mL with a range of 97. 07 – 254.9 pg/mL.

The mean CYR61 concentration was determined to be 182.2 pg/mL in neat serum, 123.5 pg/mL in neat plasma (citrate), and 155.3 pg/mL in neat plasma (EDTA).

Human CYR61 ELISA Kit (ab238267) is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of CYR61 protein in cell culture extracts, cell culture supernatant, cit plasma, edta plasma, milk, saliva, serum, tissue extracts, and urine. It uses our proprietary SimpleStep ELISA® technology. Quantitate Human CYR61 with 5 pg/ml sensitivity.
SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. See the SimpleStep ELISA® protocol summary in the image section for further details. Our SimpleStep ELISA® technology provides several benefits:
- Single-wash protocol reduces assay time to 90 minutes or less

These complexes aid in mediating interactions between cells and their environments. Through these mechanisms CYR61 influences various biological outcomes impacting how tissues grow and repair.
Pathways
CYR61 contributes to both the integrin and TGF-beta signaling pathways. In the integrin pathway it interacts with proteins like integrin alphaVbeta3 to influence cell movement and survival. The TGF-beta pathway involves its regulation of cellular responses to growth factors. By playing important roles in these pathways CYR61 maintains essential cellular functions and intercellular communication impacting diverse physiological processes.
