Interpolated concentrations of native ECM1 in cell culture supernatant.

The concentrations of ECM1 were measured in duplicate interpolated from the ECM1 standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : MDA-MB-435S supernatant 2%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD n=2). The mean ECM1 concentration was determined to be 141 ng/mL.

Interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD n=2). The mean ECM1 concentration was determined to be 2862 ng/mL with a range of 1028 – 4859 ng/mL.

The concentrations of ECM1 were measured in duplicates interpolated from the ECM1 standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : serum 1 : 1000 plasma (citrate) 1 : 2000 plasma (EDTA) 1 : 2000 and plasma (heparin) 1 : 1000. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD n=2). The mean ECM1 concentration was determined to be 4064 ng/mL in serum 9512 ng/mL in plasma (citrate) 10307 ng/mL in plasma (EDTA) and 2989 ng/ml in plasma heparin.

How the assay works

Human ECM1 ELISA Kit, Chemiluminescent (ab326753) SimpleStep Ignite™ ELISA employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step during a 30 min only incubation, significantly reducing assay time. By utilizing a chemiluminscent detection method this improves the sensitivity and dynamic range when compared to traditional colorimetric ELISAs.
