Human FKBP51 ELISA Kit- Extracellular is a single-wash 90-min Simplestep used to quantify Human FKBP51 with a sensitivity of 44.069 pg/mL. The assay uses a simple mix-wash-read protocol with just one incubation and one wash step.

Serum of eight individual healthy human male donors was measured in duplicate. Interpolated dilution factor corrected values (to neat sample) are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean FKBP51 concentration of detected samples was determined to be 164.6 pg/mL with a range of undetected – 406.3 pg/mL.

Interpolated concentration of native FKBP51 was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations. Undiluted samples are 25% HeLa cell culture supernatant. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values (to neat sample) are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in Sample Diluent NS.

Human FKBP51 SimpleStep ELISA® kit is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of FKBP51 protein in Serum, Cit Plasma, EDTA Plasma, Hep Plasma, Cell culture supernatant. Quantitate Human FKBP51 with 44.069 pg/ml sensitivity.

SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. Immunophilin protein with PPIase and co-chaperone activities (PubMed : 11350175). Component of unligated steroid receptors heterocomplexes through interaction with heat-shock protein 90 (HSP90). Plays a role in the intracellular trafficking of heterooligomeric forms of steroid hormone receptors maintaining the complex into the cytoplasm when unliganded (PubMed : 12538866). Acts as a regulator of Akt/AKT1 activity by promoting the interaction between Akt/AKT1 and PHLPP1, thereby enhancing dephosphorylation and subsequent activation of Akt/AKT1 (PubMed : 28147277, PubMed : 28363942). Interacts with IKBKE and IKBKB which facilitates IKK complex assembly leading to increased IKBKE and IKBKB kinase activity, NF-kappa-B activation, and IFN production (PubMed : 26101251, PubMed : 31434731).
