Sandwich ELISA - Human GCSF Receptor ELISA Kit (AB277707)

Serum from eight individual healthy GCSF Receptor gender donors was measured in duplicate.

Interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean GCSF Receptor concentration was determined to be 368 pg/mL with a range of 58 – 1,119 pg/mL.

Product details

Human GCSF Receptor ELISA kit (ab277707) is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of Human GCSF Receptor in human serum, plasma (EDTA), cell culture supernatant, and cell and tissue extract. It uses our proprietary SimpleStep ELISA® technology. Quantitate Human GCSF Receptor with 9.4 pg/mL sensitivity.

SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. See the SimpleStep ELISA® protocol summary in the image section for further details. Our SimpleStep ELISA® technology provides several benefits:

-Single-wash protocol reduces assay time to 90 minutes or less
-High sensitivity, specificity and reproducibility from superior antibodies
-Fully validated in biological samples
-96-wells plate breakable into 12 x 8 wells strips

A 384-well SimpleStep ELISA® microplate (ab203359) is available to use as an alternative to the 96-well microplate provided with SimpleStep ELISA® kits.

Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor receptor (GCSF-R), also known as CD114, is a protein encoded by the CSF3R gene. GCSF Receptor belongs to a family of cytokine receptors known as the hematopoietin receptor family. GCSF Receptor acts as a receptor primarily for granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (CSF3), which is essential for granulocytic maturation. Binding of CSF3 to GCSF Receptor initiates a conformational change in the receptor, which leads to activation of several downstream pathways including JAK/STAT, PI3K/AKT, and MAPK/ERK. Mutations in CSF3R have been associated in most cases of severe congenital neutropenia. The antibodies used in this kit were raised against the extracellular portion of the canonical isoform of GCSF Receptor, also known as GCSFR-1.
