Interpolated concentration of native HNF-4-alpha was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations. Undiluted samples are HepG2 cell extract 40 ug/mL. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in 1X Cell Extraction Buffer PTR.

Human HNF-4-alpha ELISA Kit, Chemiluminescent (ab325739) is a rapid single-wash sandwich 55-min ELISA to measure Human HNF-4-alpha in Cell Extract with a sensitivity of 2.02 pg/mL.

How the assay works

Human HNF-4-alpha ELISA Kit, Chemiluminescent (ab325739) SimpleStep Ignite™ ELISA employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step during a 30 min only incubation, significantly reducing assay time. By utilizing a chemiluminscent detection method this improves the sensitivity and dynamic range when compared to traditional colorimetric ELISAs.

Target data

Transcriptional regulator which controls the expression of hepatic genes during the transition of endodermal cells to hepatic progenitor cells, facilitating the recruitment of RNA pol II to the promoters of target genes (PubMed : 30597922). Activates the transcription of CYP2C38 (By similarity).
