Interpolated concentration of native ICAM1 was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations. Undiluted samples are as follows : urine 50%, 1.5 % PHA-M 24 hours stimulated PBMC supernatant (SN) 30%, and unstimulated PBMC supernatant 50%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in Sample Diluent NS

Serum of ten individual healthy human female donors was measured in duplicate. Interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +- SD, n=2). The mean ICAM1 concentration was determined to be 226 ng/mL with a range of 158 – 268 ng/mL.

Human ICAM1 - Extracellular SimpleStep ELISA® kit is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of ICAM1 - Extracellular protein in human serum, Heparin plasma, Citrate plasma, EDTA plasma, urine and cell culture supernatant. Quantitate Human ICAM1 - Extracellular with 14.063 pg/ml sensitivity.

SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. ICAM proteins are ligands for the leukocyte adhesion protein LFA-1 (integrin alpha-L/beta-2). During leukocyte trans-endothelial migration, ICAM1 engagement promotes the assembly of endothelial apical cups through ARHGEF26/SGEF and RHOG activation.. (Microbial infection) Acts as a receptor for major receptor group rhinovirus A-B capsid proteins.. (Microbial infection) Acts as a receptor for Coxsackievirus A21 capsid proteins.. (Microbial infection) Upon Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus/HHV-8 infection, is degraded by viral E3 ubiquitin ligase MIR2, presumably to prevent lysis of infected cells by cytotoxic T-lymphocytes and NK cell.
