Human PAEP ELISA kit (ab275904) is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of Human PAEP protein in human serum. It uses our proprietary SimpleStep ELISA® technology. Quantitate Human PAEP with 3 pg/mL sensitivity.

SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. PAEP, progestogen-associated endometrial protein also known as glycodelin, is a glycoprotein which plays many important roles in fertility and maintenance of pregnancy. PAEP changes its biochemical interaction based on its glycosylation state. PAEP is a prognostic marker for in vitro fertilization and for premature membrane rupture. The antibodies in this kit were raised against a recombinant full-length mature protein. This protein does not have a homolog in mouse or rat and is not expected to cross-react with samples from these species.
