Serum of ten individual healthy human female donors was measured in duplicate. Interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean Pro-Collagen I alpha 1 concentration was determined to be 227.8 ng/mL with a range of 118.4 – 368.9 ng/mL.

How the assay works

Human Pro-Collagen I alpha 1 ELISA Kit, Chemiluminescent (ab325360) SimpleStep ELISA®  employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step during a 30 min only incubation, significantly reducing assay time.  By utilizing a chemiluminscent detection method this improves the sensitivity and dynamic range when compared to traditional colorimetric ELISAs.
