Product details
Human SEMA6B ELISA Kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of human SEMA6B in serum (human SEMA6B concentration is low in normal serum/plasma, and may not be detectable in this assay concentration) , plasma and cell culture supernatants. This assay employs an antibody specific for human SEMA6B coated on a 96-well plate.
This ELISA kit shows no cross-reactivity with the following cytokines tested: human ACE, Activin RIB (ALK-4), ADAM23, Artemin, Cardiotrophin-1 (CT-1), Cathepsin V, FABP1, FGF20, GDF-8, HAI-1, IL-27 R alpha (WSX-1), Insulin R, Kallikrein 7, LIF R alpha, Lipocalin-1, LTbR (Lymphotoxin beta R), Mesothelin, MFRP, Neuropilin-2, Neurturin, Nidogen-2, Olfactomedin-2 (Noelin-2), p53, PDECGF (Thymidine Phosphorylase), PDGF-CC, Progranulin, Ret, ROBO4, Serpin F1 (PEDF), SREC-I (SCARF1), SREC-II (SCARF2), TLR1, TLR3, TPP1 (Tripeptidyl-peptidase I), TREM-2, TrkC, TROY (TNFRSF19), Uromodulin, XIAP.

Biological function summary
Semaphorin-6B facilitates cellular signaling that impacts cell proliferation differentiation and migration. It operates as a part of larger signaling cascades rather than a solitary entity. This protein interacts closely with neuropilin and plexin receptor families to modulate cellular communication and connectivity. These interactions suggest its role is not isolated but integrated into complex networks that influence the structural development of the organism.
Pathways
The activity of SEMA6B intersects with neural development pathways such as the axon guidance signaling pathway. It shares interactions with proteins like Plexin-A2 which is important for the mechanism of transmitting semaphorin signals. Additionally it has implications in the semaphorin-plexin signaling pathway where it contributes to signal transduction processes important for brain development and synaptic formation.
