Human Thyroglobulin SimpleStep ELISA® kit is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of Thyroglobulin protein in Serum, Cit Plasma, EDTA Plasma, Hep Plasma, Tissue extracts. Quantitate Human Thyroglobulin with 17.7 pg/ml sensitivity.

SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. The synthesis of T3 and T4 involves iodination of selected tyrosine residues of TG/thyroglobulin followed by their oxidative coupling in the thyroid follicle lumen (PubMed : 32025030). Following TG re-internalization and lysosomal-mediated proteolysis, T3 and T4 are released from the polypeptide backbone leading to their secretion into the bloodstream (PubMed : 32025030).
