Interpolated concentrations of human TMS1/ASC in THP-1 cell extract and MCF7 cell extract.

Interpolated concentration of native TMS1/ASC was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations. Undiluted samples are as follows : THP-1 cell extract 10 µg/mL, and MCF7 cell extract 5 µg/mL. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in 1X Cell Extraction Buffer PTR.

Human TMS1/ASC ELISA Kit, Chemiluminescent (ab326746) is a rapid single-wash sandwich 55-min ELISA to measure Human TMS1/ASC in Cell Lysate with a sensitivity of 0.34 pg/mL.

How the assay works

Human TMS1/ASC ELISA Kit, Chemiluminescent (ab326746) SimpleStep Ignite™ ELISA employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step during a 30 min only incubation, significantly reducing assay time. By utilizing a chemiluminscent detection method this improves the sensitivity and dynamic range when compared to traditional colorimetric ELISAs.

Promotes caspase-mediated apoptosis involving predominantly caspase-8 and also caspase-9 in a probable cell type-specific manner (PubMed : 11103777, PubMed : 12646168).
