Serum of eight individual apparently healthy human male donors (1-8) and serum of two individual patients clinically diagnosed with Atopic Dermatitis (A.D. 1 and A.D. 2) was measured in duplicate. Interpolated dilution factor corrected values (to neat sample) are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean TSLP concentration of detected healthy samples was determined to be 52.5 pg/mL with a range of undetected – 142.3 pg/mL. Severity of A.D. symptoms and medical histories of all donors are unknown.

Human TSLP ELISA Kit, Chemiluminescent (ab326747) is a rapid single-wash sandwich 55-min ELISA to measure Human TSLP in Serum, Cell culture media with a sensitivity of 1.54 pg/mL.

How the assay works

Human TSLP ELISA Kit, Chemiluminescent (ab326747) SimpleStep Ignite™ ELISA employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step during a 30 min only incubation, significantly reducing assay time. By utilizing a chemiluminscent detection method this improves the sensitivity and dynamic range when compared to traditional colorimetric ELISAs.
