Serum of ten individual healthy human female donors was measured in duplicate. Interpolated dilution factor corrected values (to neat sample) are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean TWEAK/TNFSF12 concentration of detected samples was determined to be 85.1 pg/mL with a range of undetectable – 155.9 pg/mL.

Interpolated concentration of native TWEAK/TNFSF12 was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations. Undiluted samples are 50% human serum and human plasma (citrate). The interpolated dilution factor corrected values (to neat sample) are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in Sample Diluent NS + 1X Enhancer.

Target data

Binds to FN14 and possibly also to TNRFSF12/APO3. Weak inducer of apoptosis in some cell types. Mediates NF-kappa-B activation. Promotes angiogenesis and the proliferation of endothelial cells. Also involved in induction of inflammatory cytokines. Promotes IL8 secretion.
