Serum from eight individual healthy Versican mixed gender donors was measured in duplicate.

Interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean Versican concentration was determined to be 48.9 ng/mL with a range of 28.9 – 60.2 ng/mL.

Interpolated concentrations of native Versican in human serum, plasma (EDTA), plasma (citrate), and plasma (heparin).

The concentrations of Versican were measured in duplicates, interpolated from the target standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : serum 15%, plasma (EDTA) 15%, plasma (citrate) 15%, plasma (heparin) 15%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean target concentration was determined to be 42.2 ng/mL in neat serum, 44.9 ng/mL in neat plasma (EDTA) 39.9 ng/mL in neat plasma (citrate), and 45.5 ng/mL in neat plasma (heparin).

Human Versican ELISA Kit ab283883 is a rapid single-wash 90-min Sandwich ELISA to measure Human Versican in cell culture media, citrate plasma, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma, serum. This SimpleStep sensitivity is 68.5 pg/mL.

How the assay works

Human Versican SimpleStep ELISA®employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time.
