Interpolated concentrations of native IL-17A in Rhesus macaque cell culture supernatant samples.
The concentrations of IL-17A were measured in duplicates, interpolated from the IL-17A standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : stimulated (50 ng/mL PMA, 1 μg/mL Ionomycin, 24 hours, 37°C) and unstimulated PBMC supernatant 25%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean IL-17A concentration was undetectable in unstimulated PBMC supernatant and determined to be 18 ng/mL in stimulated PBMC supernatant.

Monkey IL-17A ELISA kit (ab283537) is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of Monkey IL-17A protein in human cell culture supernatant samples. It uses our proprietary SimpleStep ELISA® technology. Quantitate Monkey IL-17A with 12 pg/mL sensitivity.
SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. IL-17A is a proinflammatory cytokine that is secreted by activated T cells. It is a disulfide-linked homodimer with both glycosylated and non-glycosylated forms. IL-17A induces stromal cells to produce proinflammatory and hematopoietic cytokines, and also enhances the surface expression of ICAM1/intracellular adhesion molecule 1 in fibroblasts.
