Mouse ALCAM (CD166) ELISA Kit- Extracellular is a single-wash 90-min Simplestep used to quantify Mouse ALCAM (CD166) with a sensitivity of 9.2 pg/ml. The assay uses a simple mix-wash-read protocol with just one incubation and one wash step.

Interpolated concentration of native ALCAM was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations. Undiluted samples are 1.5% mouse serum, plasma (citrate), plasma (EDTA), and plasma (heparin). The interpolated dilution factor corrected values (to neat sample) are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in Sample Diluent NS.

Mouse ALCAM (CD166) SimpleStep ELISA® kit is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of ALCAM (CD166) protein in Serum, Cit plasma, EDTA Plasma, Hep Plasma, and Cell culture media. Quantitate Mouse ALCAM (CD166) with 9.2 pg/ml sensitivity.

SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. CD166 also known as ALCAM (activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule) is a cell surface glycoprotein with a mass of approximately 105 kDa. This protein is widely expressed on various cell types including activated T-cells keratinocytes neurons and endothelial cells. In the immune system CD166 has roles in T-cell activation and migration. It contains five extracellular immunoglobulin-like domains which facilitate cell-cell interactions. Researchers often regard ALCAM-Z as an alternative form sharing structural elements with CD166 protein.
