Plays an important role in several reproductive functions, including Muellerian duct regression during male fetal sexua,l differentiation and in the adult plays a role in Leydig cell differentiation and function (PubMed:1782869, PubMed:9435237). In female acts as a negative regulator of the primordial to primary follicle transition and decreases FSH sensitivity of growing follicles (PubMed:11606457, PubMed:11861535). Binds to its sole type II receptor, AMHR2 that recruits type I receptors ACVR1 and BMPR1A which subsequently activates the Smad pathway (By similarity).

Mouse AMH SimpleStep ELISA® kit is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of AMH protein in Serum, Cit Plasma, EDTA Plasma, Hep Plasma, Cell culture media. Quantitate Mouse AMH with 58 pg/ml sensitivity.

Interpolated concentrations of mouse AMH in mouse serum, plasma (citrate), plasma (EDTA), and plasma (heparin. Interpolated concentration of native AMH was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations. Undiluted samples are 10% serum, plasma (citrate), plasma (EDTA), and plasma (heparin). The interpolated dilution factor corrected values (to neat sample) are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in Sample Diluent NS.
