Mouse Chitinase 3 like protein 3 (YM1) ELISA Kit is a single-wash 90-min Simplestep used to quantify Mouse Chitinase 3 like protein 3 (YM1) with a sensitivity of 10.032pg/ml. The assay uses a simple mix-wash-read protocol with just one incubation and one wash step.

Interpolated concentration of native Chitinase 3 like protein 3 was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations. Undiluted samples are as follows : serum 1 : 100, plasma (citrate) 1 : 100, plasma (EDTA) 1 : 200, and plasma (heparin) 1 : 100. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values (to neat sample) are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in Sample Diluent NS.

Target data

Lectin that binds saccharides with a free amino group, such as glucosamine or galactosamine. Binding to oligomeric saccharides is much stronger than binding to mono- or disaccharides. Also binds chitin and heparin. Has weak hexosaminidase activity but no chitinase activity. Has chemotactic activity for T-lymphocytes, bone marrow cells and eosinophils. May play a role in inflammation and allergy.
