Sandwich ELISA - Mouse DPP4 ELISA Kit (CD26) (AB264630)
Interpolated concentrations of native DPP4 in mouse serum and plasma samples.
The concentrations of DPP4 were measured in duplicates, interpolated from the DPP4 standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : serum 2%, plasma (citrate) 2%, plasma (EDTA) 2% and plasma (heparin) 2%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean DPP4 concentration was determined to be 192 ng/mL in neat serum, 214 ng/mL in neat plasma (citrate), 213 ng/mL in neat plasma (EDTA) and 220 ng/mL in neat plasma (heparin).

Sandwich ELISA - Mouse DPP4 ELISA Kit (CD26) (AB264630)
Interpolated concentrations of native DPP4 in mouse urine and lung tissue culture supernatant samples.
The concentrations of DPP4 were measured in duplicates, interpolated from the DPP4 standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : urine 20%, lung tissue culture supernatant 4%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean DPP4 concentration was determined to be 15 ng/mL in neat urine and 118 ng/mL in neat lung tissue culture supernatant

Product details
Mouse DPP4 ELISA Kit (CD26) (ab264630) is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of DPP4 (CD26) protein in cell culture supernatant, cit plasma, edta plasma, hep plasma, serum, and urine. It uses our proprietary SimpleStep ELISA® technology. Quantitate Mouse DPP4 (CD26) with 39 pg/ml sensitivity.
SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. See the SimpleStep ELISA® protocol summary in the image section for further details. Our SimpleStep ELISA® technology provides several benefits:
- Single-wash protocol reduces assay time to 90 minutes or less
- High sensitivity, specificity and reproducibility from superior antibodies
- Fully validated in biological samples
- 96-wells plate breakable into 12 x 8 wells strips
A 384-well SimpleStep ELISA® microplate (ab203359) is available to use as an alternative to the 96-well microplate provided with SimpleStep ELISA® kits.
DPP4, also known as CD26, is a cell surface glycoprotein receptor involved in the costimulatory signal essential for T-cell receptor-mediated T-cell activation. DPP4 is a serine exopeptidase with a dipeptidyl peptidase activity that regulates various physiological processes by cleaving peptides in the circulation, including many chemokines, mitogenic growth factors, neuropeptides and peptide hormones.

Biological function summary
DPP4 plays a significant role in glucose metabolism and immune function. The enzyme interacts with members of the immune system and regulates proteins such as chemokines growth factors and neuropeptides. DPP4 acts independently and is not known to be part of a larger complex. It modulates biological processes by inactivating peptide hormones and signaling molecules which impacts glucose homeostasis and immune responses.
Pathways
DPP4 impacts the incretin signaling pathway and the immune response pathway. Incretin hormones like glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) are substrates of DPP4 and play important roles in glucose metabolism. DPP4 also interacts with proteins such as adenosine deaminase (ADA) which impacts T-cell function and immune regulation. The regulation of these pathways by DPP4 influences metabolic and immune health.
