Sandwich ELISA - Mouse FRZB ELISA Kit (AB283540)
Interpolated concentrations of native FRZB in mouse serum samples.
The concentrations of FRZB were measured in duplicates, interpolated from the FRZB standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : mouse serum 50%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean FRZB concentration was determined to be 1,085.38 pg/mL in mouse serum.

Sandwich ELISA - Mouse FRZB ELISA Kit (AB283540)
Example of mouse FRZB standard curve in Sample Diluent NS.
The FRZB standard curve was prepared as described in Section 10. Raw data values are shown in the table. Background-subtracted data values (mean +/- SD) are graphed.

Sandwich ELISA - Mouse FRZB ELISA Kit (AB283540)
Interpolated concentrations of spiked FRZB in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture media samples.
The concentrations of FRZB were measured in duplicates, interpolated from the FRZB standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : serum 50%, plasma (citrate) 50%, plasma (EDTA) 50%, and 1640 RPMI cell culture media 25%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2).

Product details
Mouse FRZB ELISA kit (ab283540) is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of Mouse FRZB protein in mouse serum, plasma and cell culture supernatant samples. It uses our proprietary SimpleStep ELISA® technology. Quantitate Mouse FRZB with 96.99 pg/mL sensitivity.
SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. See the SimpleStep ELISA® protocol summary in the image section for further details. Our SimpleStep ELISA® technology provides several benefits:
-Single-wash protocol reduces assay time to 90 minutes or less
-High sensitivity, specificity and reproducibility from superior antibodies
-Fully validated in biological samples
-96-wells plate breakable into 12 x 8 wells strips
A 384-well SimpleStep ELISA® microplate (ab203359) is available to use as an alternative to the 96-well microplate provided with SimpleStep ELISA® kits.
FRZB is a Wnt-binding regulatory protein involved in embryonic development, the regulation of chondrocyte maturation, and long bone development. Osteoarthritis and Holzgreve Syndrome are associated with mutations the FRZB protein. FRZB knockout mice have increased cortical thickness.

Biological function summary
The modulation of Wnt signaling by FRZB plays a significant role in embryonic development and tissue homeostasis. FRZB is not part of a protein complex but has important interactions with other components of the signaling cascade. It influences cell differentiation proliferation and apoptosis which are critical processes during development and tissue repair.
Pathways
FRZB influences both Wnt/β-catenin and non-canonical Wnt pathways. Its interaction with these pathways regulates signal transmission that affects cellular behaviors. Related proteins include Wnt ligands and frizzled receptors which are central to these signaling mechanisms.
