Interpolated concentration of native FSTL1/FRP was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations. Undiluted samples are as follows : serum 4%, plasma (citrate) 10%, plasma (EDTA) 12%, and plasma (heparin) 5%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values to neat sample are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in Sample Diluent NS + 1X Enhancer.

Mouse FSTL1/FRP SimpleStep ELISA^® kit is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of FSTL1/FRP protein in Serum, Cit Plasma, EDTA Plasma, Hep Plasma, Cell culture media. Quantitate Mouse FSTL1/FRP with 0.04 ng/ml sensitivity.

SimpleStep ELISA^® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA^® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. See the SimpleStep ELISA^® protocol summary in the image section for further details. Our SimpleStep ELISA^® technology provides several benefits:

FSTL1 also known as FRP is a protein that plays an important role in various cellular functions. The protein is a glycoprotein with a molecular mass of approximately 32 kDa and is expressed in a variety of tissues including heart lung and placenta. FSTL1 contains several domains that facilitate its interaction with other proteins and cellular components. It is located both intracellularly and secreted in the extracellular matrix contributing to its role in cell signaling and structural integrity.

Biological function summary

FSTL1 serves as a modulator in inflammatory and developmental processes. It is a part of a complex that regulates immune responses and cell growth. The protein has been shown to affect the activity of multiple growth factors including Bone Morphogenetic Proteins (BMPs) revealing its regulatory capacity in tissue development and repair.
