Interpolated concentrations of native GPNMB in mouse serum and plasma samples. The concentrations of GPNMB were measured in duplicates, interpolated from the GPNMB standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : serum 50%, plasma (citrate) 100%, and plasma (EDTA) 100%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean GPNMB concentration was determined to be 19.4 ng/mL in neat serum, 6.5 ng/mL in plasma (citrate) and 6.6 ng/mL in plasma (EDTA).

How the assay works

Mouse GPNMB ELISA Kit, Chemiluminescent (ab325723) SimpleStep Ignite™ ELISA employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step during a 30 min only incubation, significantly reducing assay time. By utilizing a chemiluminscent detection method this improves the sensitivity and dynamic range when compared to traditional colorimetric ELISAs.
