Interpolated concentration of native NT-proBNP was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations in 96-well vs. 384-well plates. Undiluted samples are 15% heart tissue culture supernatant. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values (to neat sample) are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in Sample Diluent NS.

Mouse NT-proBNP ELISA Kit is a single-wash 90-min Simplestep used to quantify Mouse NT-proBNP with a sensitivity of 1.273pg/ml. The assay uses a simple mix-wash-read protocol with just one incubation and one wash step.

- Colormetric sandwich ELISA - 450 nm readout- works on any standard plate reader.

- Different format for different needs: 10 x 96 plates for bulk orders and 384-well for higher throughput.

SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. Brain natriuretic peptide 45. Cardiac hormone that plays a key role in mediating cardio-renal homeostasis (PubMed : 8182124). May also function as a paracrine antifibrotic factor in the heart (PubMed : 10737768). Acts by specifically binding and stimulating NPR1 to produce cGMP, which in turn activates effector proteins that drive various biological responses (PubMed : 8182124). Likely involved in regulating the extracellular fluid volume and maintaining the fluid-electrolyte balance through natriuresis, diuresis, kaluresis and chloruresis (By similarity).
